Jazz Up Thursdays with Tim Rose

Tim Rose has been an active professional musician since the mid 1990s. Over the last twenty years he has played for numerous artists, West End Shows, recording sessions and TV apperances.

In 2015 he began recording his first album as leader. This was released on Pathway Records in November 2016 under the title ‘Outlook’.

Tim’s music shows influences ranging from Brecker Brothers style jazz funk to Kenny Wheeleresque ballads. His guitar style demonstrates influence from players such as Robben Ford and Larry Carlton to modern jazz players Pat Metheny and John Scofield. The project which began as a recording vehicle for his compositions has grown into a regularly performing live quartet featuring Graeme Flowers on trumpet, Phil Donnelly on bass and John Humphrey on drums.
