João – 8pm 

João Menezes is a Portuguese singer and guitar player, currently living in London and studying Jazz at the acclaimed Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Since his arrival in London he has studied with musicians such as: John Parricelli, Colin Oxley, Mike Outram, Ife Tolentino, Barak Schmool, Gareth Lockrane, and had masterclasses with Jonathan Kreisberg, Jeff “Tain” Watts and Elliot Mason.

João has always had a passion for Brazilian music, but it was not until he started studying at the Guildhall School that he invested in Bossa Nova and started exploring its rich harmony in a more in-depth way. His main influences are João Bosco, João Gilberto, Gilberto Gil and Tom Jobim, between many others that are part of his repertoire.

Ido Spak – 9pm 

Ido Spak is a composer, arranger and plays the piano. He concentrates on Jazz-Fusion with the influence of classical techniques and middle eastern music. 

He wishes to bring new things to Jazz and combine new rhythms and new ways of improvisation.

He writes music for films and have experience as a music director in theaters.
