Mark Mathews, Homing & The Thumping Tommys

Mark Mathews 7:30PM

London based Singer-Songwriter, Mark Mathews, has been described as, “arguably the hardest working solo artist in the UK right now” (Rock Shot Magazine), and it is no wonder why. His continued commitment to tour across the UK and the globe, playing his infectious folky Indie-Pop tunes, has seen him perform with Andy Fairweather-Low, Dodgy, Frank Turner, The Draytones and Dan Le Sac – not to mention a performance for the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
He has been voted one of the best artists in London by readers of the Metro newspaper, awarded first place in the Indie International Songwriting competition, nominated for 2 Indy Music Awards for best live act and been played on BBC Introducing. His guitar and vocal skills have been enlisted on various session projects and a string of UK brands have hired him to perform at their events.

Homing 9pm

South London band ‘The Homing’ have been compared to Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Mumfords and The Byrds – much to their annoyance. Their unique mixture of electric rock and folk/country roots features banjo, violin, mandolin, bass, harp, acoustic and electric guitars with twin female vocalists driving complex multi harmonies. With lyrics chosen by throwing a dart into a bookcase, and 20 instruments to choose from, they’re known for an extensive repertoire of genre bending songs you can sing along with – a road trip from pop murder ballads to rock and roll feminist anthems calling in at regret, nostalgia and broken heartedness on the way..

The thumping tommys 10:30PM

The thumping tommys are a collection of talented musicians specialising in old-time music. Having played at many great festival stages, bars and cafes, the thumping tommys play a heady brew of Irish and American folk music performed with a distinctly English style, which has established them as one of the most entertaining groups working in the UK right now.
